Clarissa’s Blessing

Today was a great event for our family. We blessed our new baby Clarissa. As always it was great to have so much family come and support us. Not that I had low expectations of my family but there were people that came that I didn’t expect. It was awesome. I have added some photos in the 2006 gallery for all can see. It is always good times when family can get together and rub shoulders and catch up with each other.

When the day was over Clarissa also felt that it was a busy and great day. She slept longer that she has ever slept before. I guess she was also excited that she could just sleep and not continue to be passed around and loved.

Sariah and I thank all that showed up and we hope that you all returned home safely.

3D Dragon

A few months ago I saw a video of a dragon that someone made a origami type dragon that was folded a certain way to make it look 3D. I thought this was quite amazing. It reminded me of the portraits that are in the haunted houses at Disney Land. I thought that it would be cool to make, but I had no idea how to do it. Today a co-worker found a downloadable pdf that has the pattern. We printed it off, cut it out and sure enough it is amazing. If you have 20 min to waste, like I did, then download the pdf and try it out. It will blow your socks off!!
