Again, busyness has gotten deeply entangled in my life and I have yet again not posted anything on the blog for a while.

I want to share a little about a new addition to our family. We have a new baby. Yes another girl to make the testosterone levels even a lesser percentage in my home. She is quite a good baby. Sleeps a lot, but I guess that is what babies do.

I know you are thinking to yourself, “I don’t remember Sariah expecting?” Well you are right. This is a foster child. Her name is Elizabeth, and her family calls her “Lizzy”. She came to our home on February 1st. She was 6 weeks old at that time, now she is almost 9 weeks. She was taken from her family because the father was physically abusive. She has a few broken bones. We are not sure how much longer we will have her. It all depends on the system. There are so many variables that help make that decision. We could have her for another month at the shortest, or we could have her for a year at the longest.

As expected it has added a new level of difficulty to our family. Many say the third child is the hardest to get used to, and we will have to agree. Having our own that is 14 months, Sariah gets many looks when she is holding a 14 month old in one arm and a car seat with Lizzy in the other.

In general, we love her and enjoy the opportunity to help this family when they are in a rough time of their lives. I will put some photos in the 2007 gallery if you want to go and check them out.
